Must be subject to further study. There may be benefits, but definitely disadvantages in moving time to 8. Anyway, as far as I know, (kindly correct me if mistaken) Pisay starts as 8:30, but maybe its a concession to the dormers there. Their classes also end commonly at 2 pm.
Pag-aralan muna ng maayos bago magreact, baka ikagaganda rin naman, lalo na kung taga-malayo ka.
2.Matagal na yan =)
Oo nga bombarded tayo, pero natatapos naman natin, di ba? Nagcoconcessions din naman sila kung talagang mejo matindi na ung carpet bombing.
As far as I know, may quota ang pisay sa daily assignments. I just do not know the exact workings of the system, pero possibly adaptable din yon.
But that does not mean na dapat nating gaYAhin yun. Mas asteeg naman tayo sa kanila, kasi kahit wala tayong quota sa assignment tapos naman lahat. MaSci is MaSci, kasama sa experience yan. Ilugar lang siguro ung pagbibigay ng assignment, i.e. kung sino major subject sya dapat marami assignment at di dapat nasasapawan ng minor. At sana naman kapaki-pakinabang ung assignment at hindi pinababayaran, o kaya demanding na di nagtuturo.
3. Allocation lang ng subjects yan. Pusta nga ako dapat dagdagan pa e.
Maraming subjects na pwedeng ilipat sa ibang year para mas consistent and evenly distributed ang load. parang techwri at adbio. ang techwri siguro maganda ilagay sa 2nd year para dire-diretso, nabawasan pa ng load ang saydep. pagdating ng 3rd year, application ka na, di ba? Do you get the Logic? (thanks sir cas). Imbis na parehas research ang pinag-aaralan sa 2 subjects na magkaiba ung pormang pinagagwa sa iyo edi istreamline na nila at pag-integratein na lang.
Maganda rin na talagang science and research oriented ung mga subject, hindi puro etchos lang.
4. Rarely allows? Allows, pero di pinagtetrain ng maayos. Clandestine na nga ako ngayon e.
Masakit din para sa akin yun. It is my one mutha****in thankless job na gawin ang trabahong iyon. Sampal sa mukha ko na sabihing di na pinapayagang magcontest. Kung magpakamatay ako para sa contest iwan na grades ko. Binobomba pa rin ako.
Masama nyan, di minsan alam ng teachers na panalo ka na. Tatarahan ka pa nila ng absent tapos 85 bagsak sa card. Buti nakakaagapay.
Di naman isyu ung eat bulaga e. Dapat lang sumali sa kahit anong offer. Opportunity yan, grab it. Publicity din. Kung ang ibang skwelahan nga lumalaki ung base ng contests bakit tayo hindi. Take it positively na lang siguro. Maske na mahina sila sa geography.
Pero dapat siguro, next time, gumawa sila ng stable, hindi sila mag-alaga ng isang parang "champion" tapos ung iba iwan. Mas malakas pa rin kung marami.
5. Ano ba naman yun. The schedule picked by the school is the best, and most ergonomic. Pinag-aralan yan, tapos babaguhin nyo? G@*0. Wala pa kayong napapatunayan.
MaRAMI pang isyu. The admin must have its backbone.
Tandaan: Maaring mawala na ang admin pero mabubuhay ang MaSci sa estudyante, pero mawala ang estudyante sa MaSci, ewan ko lang. Pag ganyan ng ganyan.

Issues
Yung MaSci (Manila Science High School) , ginagawa ng Araullo (Araullo High School) Annex -Ma’am Palisoc
Why?
Proofs as stated by Mrs. Palisoc.
1. Schedule was changed due to insistent demands of parents. For them (freshmen parents), 7 am is so early that they appealed to move it to 8 am.
* This is so [insert word here] …Ang standard high school ang pasok 7 so kung ang MaSci 8 na, we’re below from the standard time na di’ba? I thought MaSci supposed to be higher. =( And why are parents so demanding? Err.
2. Parents (freshmen) appealed to Mrs. Sabado [principal] to reduce the number of assignments given to students.
*This is so Araullo. Mind you ha, pumasok kayo sa Manila Science High School, isang SCIENCE HS! Kung ayaw nyo ng madaming assignments … nako! And passing the exams means that you are capable of doing/answering many assignments though some are not. THIS WILL MAKE MASCI A NON-SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL EXCEPT FOR THE SUBJECTS. Try niyong MAGPUYAT. 8 am? Lesser assignments?
3. Parents (freshmen) appealed to unidentified Education authorities to reduce the number of subjects. Some subjects according to them are very unpractical/useless.
*WALA NA. GRABE NA.
4. The principal rarely allows students to join competitions like quiz bees, and research fair. Pero pinayagang sumali sa EB Sa Pula, Sa Puti segment.
*Where’s excellence? tsk. WINNING COMPETITIONS IS BEING MASCI. If not for these competitions, MaSci will never be MaSci.
5. A teacher accommodates two sections at a time as a result of parents appealing to change schedules.
*EXCELLENCE cannot be seen. DETERIORATION of EDUCATION is seen everywhere. GRABE AH. bakit ganito? Paano na may matutunan ang isang magaaral kung ganito? Grrrr.

I think MaSci should change its name now. I suggest they change it to Manila Freshmen Parent’s High School or Manila Science Kindergarten Academy. For 45 years, MaSci is so excellent and recognized as an institution providing super-quality education for high school students, MaSci is known to be very competitive … so why should we change something? Nagwowork naman di’ba? I think if there is something to be change, ito dapat yung facility at yung automatic admission.
THIS IS HAPPENING.
